Talyxian Associators

Comparison of wolf-type T-Associator and dog-type T-Associator.

Talyxian-Associators(タリクシアン・アソシエーター, also described "T-Associators" or "Associators" for short)" are creatures that belong to Talyxian species group. There is two type among them; "Wolf" and "Dog". Wolves and dogs have similar appearances, but biology and ecology are totally different. Original species of T-Associators are treated as a wolf by the Eltus race, and domestic associators are treated as a dog.

They are quadrupedal and including the appearance of mixed organic and inorganic components. They are, of course, not a machine, cyborg, or robotic beings in any way.

Unlike Talyxian-Stalkers, they don't have an individual difference of appearances.

They can't talk, but they have high intelligence.

Wolf

T-Associators original, as known as wolves.

The original species of Talyxian-Associator, also known as Tal's "wolves", which live in Talyxian biome forests of Northern lands of Tal.

They can't do reproduction and don't eat anything, but they live long too much. Probably they were created by Rooters, and Rooters set them free in the forest. All of them are one molding.

They are considered as is a sacred, holy animal, and is an object of faith and worship for traditional Northern people. All of them are called "Zyn" which means "God" itself or "The God of the forest" in Sieg language. (Not to be confused with Rain's wolf, Zyn. Name of "Zyn" is not the only name for specific T-Associator wolf individual.)

They can't be made into pets from people. Because all wolves act with their own intention and propose. As for the case of Rain's wolf, Zyn, was acting and accompanying Rain by his own intention.

There were considerably many wolves in ancient times. But, they are almost not discovered in modern times. Now they are treated as the legendary animals of the depths of the forest.

Biology

Have wing-like foldable plates, but it doesn't have the ability to fly.

Parts of their wing-like plates have superior sharpness, it actually can work as their weapons as Eltus people call that parts "wolf's blade".

All of them have white fur, there's no exception out of white.

Their mouth fangs are referred to it as a "horn" from agudners while "fang" is the name a sergals give this body part.

Ecology

They leave the forest according to the season, come together as in their group to the place that has strong sunlight and is free from miasma, such as the Tatla that is becoming the border. And they enlarge the wing-like plates of their bodies and do photosynthesis, then return to the forest when they finish a storage of their energy enough.

They don't eat anything although they have mouths, they will use their fangs for only killing other large-size Talyxian creatures. Their this behavior is an adjustment of the population of wildlife in all probability.

Their blade parts on their wing-like plates can cut off Talyxian biome's tough carnivorous plants, those acts become the origin of the act of worshiping blades in Tal.

Relationship with Eltus people

Northern sergals worship wolves as "the incarnation of the forest", considering them as "a rule". Northern people consider wolves as existence that is a higher class than people.

Northern sergals even modeled aspects of their lifestyle after the behavior of wolves. However, they will sometimes use their corpses for accessories. Every object crafted from wolf parts holds a special spiritual significance.

Dog

T-Associators domestic, as known as dogs.

The domestic species of Talyxian-Associator, also known as Tal's "dogs", which live in urban and civilized areas in the Southern lands of Tal such as Gold Ring.

Biology

Unlike wolves, they don't have wing-like foldable plates.

They have soft and flexible parts on their side of the mouth, instead of wolves "fang" parts. This part work as a sensor, like an insect's antenna or cat's whisper. Due to this, these parts possess an important function for them, they would be hard to act normally if they lost this parts.

Dogs color is generally gray-toned or brown-toned colors. It's generally whole gray or whole brown, patterned fur is comparatively rare.

Ecology

They can do reproduction, contrasting with wolves which are pure Talyxian-Associators who live in Tal's native forests and are found mainly in the Northern lands. However, the lifespan of dogs is much shorter than wolves. While wolves cannot do reproduction, they do not eat anything and have longer lifespans. Unlike the wolves, dogs can eat anything (except salt) due to their omnivorous diet. They have developed both reproductive and digestive organs, and it is even possible to have a hybrid of dogs and Talyxian-Stalkers.

Relationship with Eltus people

  The dog type Talyxian-Associator with Eltus people in southern lands. The sergal and the agudner are moving from capital area to small town within range of Gold Ring with their dog.

  Lyuca who is a Northern sergal biologist in Shigu, is making their two T-dogs to look for a "miso" (it means a liquid ore in Vilous context) within these stones which are covered with Talyxian moss.

Dogs are more sociable in a relationship with Eltus race people than Talyxian-Stalkers.

Though people can't take communication with them in conversation because Talyxian-Associators can't talk, it would work well that gives an instruction to them.

While T-stalkers basically decide everything for their personal benefit, dogs willingly cooperate with people to just help people.

History of a transformation of a dog from a wolf

In ancient times of 1000 years ago, dogs began as "wolves" and came from the Northern lands with Northern sergals. These sergals were the originators of Southern sergals.

However, because there are no forests which produce miasma in the Southern lands, these "wolves" lost their original nature and turned into "dogs". Due to this, sergals lost their faith and the worship of Talyxian-Associators. And soon, sergals began cohabitation with agudners instead of their previous lifestyle which relies on the worship of wolves.

As the result, dogs were treated as just "domestic animals" unlike the treatment of wolves in the Northern Lands.
