Vilous(ビロウス birousu) is a name of fictional sun, also a name of science-fantasy world setting and universe created by the two Japanese artists Mick Ono and Kiki.

In the Old Age canon, "Vilous" was known as the name of the main planet. However, in the New Age canon lore, "Vilous" is the name for the fixed star and main system's Star; the name of the main planet where creatures live is now called "Planet Tal".

Synopsis

It is populated by wondrous creatures and a strange flora, with sentient species of different origin interacting with one another.

The primary species in Vilous are divided into two broad groups: Eltus and Talyxians. The most well-known species from the Vilous universe, Sergals, belongs to the Eltus race group. An general outlook upon the scene and biology of Vilous's system shows Tal is considerably different from Earth. Strange plants without chlorophyll occupy most of the planet Tal, demonstrating its unusual characteristics in more reddish and purples tones. There are animals on Tal that are peculiarly different as well from Earth's animals, although they may share the same name, these are not at all similar to the original namesakes, save by some trait or attribute.

Story

Long time ago, people and creatures called Eltus were living on the planet. One day, their environmental destruction had advanced deadly, and the alien creatures called Talyxians had come to occupy a whole of planet as a new ecosystem. The sea and many Eltus species creatures drastically decreased. And instead of extinct animals, people had turned into half-human and half-animal body, and divided into three parts: Sergal, Agudner, and Nevrean.

After long time passed. All Eltus race people still retain a sense of recognizing themselves as human, although as a whole, they are unaware of their original human form, and their original culture. In the planet that have totally changed into alien planet, people try to revive their original environment to save Eltus Biomes while surviving in harsh and strange Talyxian environment.

The birth of the irregular person named Rain Silves as a turning point, a whole of Tal come to have a new history called Rain Calendar. Throughout a hundred years history on Rain Calendar, Eltus people undergo a turbulent change via the World War that is occurred by General Rain. A main original stories are made in omnibus form for showing Vilous worldview along the history on this Vilous Chronology.
